Got into the garage today. And I went through a couple more squirrel-chewed boxes. It took a little while to go through one of the boxes. It contained a whole bunch of things from 1984, when E was born. Mostly papers, like baby care brochures from the hospital, and ads for things to buy for the baby. But there were a couple ancient coupons for $.75 off of a box of Pampers (Pampers used to come in boxes) - no expiration date on them, but no bar code either. I might have to give them to my niece - I want to see if they will work.
But I found the best thing - the office baby pool that my coworkers put together, when waiting for my baby to be born. Arnie won - his guess was closest to the time E was born. He won $24.00! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
But I did find some things to toss - mostly old parenting magazines.
Day one hundred and eight:
Old parenting magazines and papers into the recycling bin.
